Documentary Channel/Broadcasting

I would choose to have my documentary on Netflix as a platform. I believe that it would fit in on the platform, my documentary will be educational but high octane and fast paced as the sports that require the safety gear and have the head injuries are often most watched because of the danger. The attraction of the sports involved in my documentary such as American Football and Boxing is the danger faced mixed with the skill of the performers at the top level. I believe Netflix as a platform reflects that with the likes of F1 Drive to Survive showing an insight into one of the most lucrative and exclusive sports on the planet that the vast majority of people couldn't ever do. Another would be The Last Dance showing Michael Jordan playing Basketball in a way no human has played or ever will play which draws attention based on the pure skill and circumstance of those involved. In the case of my documentary it would draw attention because it would open up the doors to see the danger and sacrifice many sportspersons have involved and gives a greater understanding of what high level athletes go through and thus give greater appreciation to those who are successful but also give greater support towards safety and the ability to stay out of trouble. I think Netflix as a platform with their documentaries always have a selling point in terms of what makes people want to watch. In this case mine would be showing the impact and danger in the sports they view.
