Script:
Scene 1:
On screen text will show name and profession ie Dr
Expert: A concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury that affects how the brain functions, symptoms include dizziness, headaches, problems with vision and feeling nauseous. The severity of the concussion determines the extent of the brain injury and how long it lasts. Most people recover without long-term effects, but some may experience symptoms for days, weeks, or months.
Scene 1 will cut from video of interviewer to voice overing clips showing what they describe
Scene 2:
Interviewer: How can they [Concussions] be controlled or prevented
Expert: Unfortunately, concussions are not a completely preventable injury. Using correct protective gear and it being up to regulation and correctly fitting is Key. Concussion prevention can be implemented by educating those involved with sports, teaching proper sports techniques, and implementing current recommendations. Through early detection and the use of concussion testing, more serious injuries could also be prevented.
